Privacy Policy
What HardHat Line collects when you call or text a business that uses it, and what we do with it.
What we collect
When you call or text a business using HardHat Line, we may collect:
- Your phone number
- Call recordings and transcripts, when a call is handled by our assistant — always disclosed at the start of the call
- The content of text messages you exchange with the business
- Job details you share: the service you need, your location or ZIP, and timing
How it’s used
We use this information solely to deliver the missed-call recovery service to the business you called: replying to your call, relaying your conversation to the business owner, helping you book a time, sending confirmations, and sending one review request after your job is complete.
What we don't do with it
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
Service providers we use
We rely on a small set of service providers to run HardHat Line. They process data on our behalf to operate the service — none of them use it for their own marketing:
- Twilio— call routing and SMS delivery
- Retell AI— voice assistant and call transcription
- Supabase— database and storage
- Vercel— hosting
- Cal.com— booking links and scheduling
Retention and your rights
Call recordings and transcripts are kept for as long as the business’s account is active. If you’d like your data deleted, email support@hardhatline.comor ask the business you called to request it on your behalf — we’ll delete it within 30 days of a written request.
Opting out
Don’t want texts from a business using HardHat Line? Text STOPat any time and you won’t be texted again from that conversation.
Effective date
